Dr. Umar Suleman has a PhD in Computer Science in the area of robot learning from demonstration. He is presently working as Assistant Professor at FAST-NUCES and as a Director at Isotrix LLC. Before assuming a permanent position in academics, for over a decade, he has been attached part-time with different academic and research activities, including teaching, senior projects supervisory, assistantships and subject expertise consultancy. During the course of his experience in the software industry, starting from January 2000, he has worked for different organizations including Isotrix, Electrix Engineering, Suleman Automation, Systems (Pvt.) Limited, LUMS, FAST, Simitrix and MetaApp. He has experience and can program in Visual C, C++, C, Assembly, Prolog, Ruby, javascript, VBA, Matlab, CLIPS, and LISP, among others. He has worked in areas of software architecture, software design, and project management as well.

Rabia Maqsood has been teaching at National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences as an Assistant Professor. She has research interests in the areas of Human Computer Interaction (HCI), E-Learning, Ubiquitous Computing & Game Theory. She has a research publication on ITSAS: An Approach Towards Adaptive Student Assessment.
Maria Maqsood is an Computer Scientist working as a lecturer at FAST NUCES Chiniot Faisalabad Campus. She owns a degree of MS (CS) in Research Agile Methodologies Software Engineering from FAST NUCES Islamabad.
Rabia Aslam did her Bachelors in Physics from Lahore University of Management and Sciences (LUMS) and Masters in Biomedical Engineering from KU Leuven, Belgium as an Erasmus Mundus Scholar. The highlights of her research experience include summer internship in the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN), Switzerland and a research position in Neuro-electronics Research Flanders (NERF), Imec, Belgium. For her masters’ project, she worked on automatic segmentation using shape models for rectal cancer radiotherapy at Medical Imaging Research Center (MIRC), Leuven. At NERF, she worked on the automated analysis of cellular signals from Calcium Imaging while at CERN, she analyzed strange particle production in proton-proton collisions.
Rabia is a strong advocate of promotion and development of education and believes in bringing high education standards to Pakistan, maintaining equal opportunities for all. She has a penchant for taking on challenges and work with dedication and perseverance. She has been a part of several projects aiming at easy access of education with emphasis on conceptual learning.
